Preschool Board

The Preschool Board provides guidance, decision-making on policy and consistency with doctrine for the Director, teacher and aide. The Preschool Board chairperson represents the Preschool Program at the regularly scheduled church Board of Director monthly meetings.

 Director

The Director supervises the operation of the preschool, insuring that all policies adopted by the Preschool Board are carried out. The Director provides information to the Preschool Board on the ongoing progress of the program and staff.

 Teacher

Under the direction and supervision of the Director, the teacher plans, implements and evaluates the curriculum in accordance with the mission statement and objectives of the Preschool.

 Teacher Aide

The teacher aide assists the classroom teacher in the general supervision and management of a group of children.

 ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

The CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL OF ATONEMENT LUTHERAN is located in Burien on the corner of 8th Ave. South & 128th Street. Entrance to the parking lot must be from 8th Ave. Proceed through parking lot to the corner of the building, turn left and park in any designated space available. Preschool entrance is through the double doors on the west side of building.

We ask that parents escort their children into the classroom upon arrival and return to the classroom to pick-up their child at the end of the class. Children should not arrive more than five minutes before class begins nor be picked up later than ten minutes after class. Children will not be released to anyone who is not listed on your registration form without written notice.
